Tasar BC's Regatta                                                                          September 6 & 7

The annual doubled handed monohull migration of Tasars takes place on the September 6/7 weekend as the Jericho Sailing Centre hosts the Tasar BC's regatta.

The Tasar is a hard chined, fully battened, mono hull racing dinghy designed by Australian designer Frank Brathwaite who engineered the displacement so that the optimum crew weight was equal to the weight of the average woman plus the average man. So there will be a keen fleet of average folk from all over exercising above average sailing skills in Vancouver's most popular double handed racing dinghy on the waves of English Bay.
